Triona Dowd

Head of Sustainability Assurance

Triona Dowd is Head of Sustainability Assurance at Reckitt, where she leads the company’s sustainability assurance programme and is responsible for implementing the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). She plays a key role in shaping Reckitt’s response to evolving ESG reporting and regulatory requirements, ensuring the robustness, governance, and integrity of sustainability disclosures.

As part of her role, Triona is responsible for overseeing climate-related reporting, including climate scenario modelling, climate risk assessment, and the development of Reckitt’s TCFD-aligned disclosures. She works closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen sustainability controls, enhance reporting processes, and support decision-making on climate-related risks and opportunities.

Since joining Reckitt in December 2016, Triona has held a number of finance leadership positions, including Senior Finance Manager for ESG, Finance Manager for Finance Companies, Corporate Accounting, and Business Partner for Global Expansion Markets (EUAMET and APAC). Through these roles, she has developed extensive experience in financial reporting, governance, controls, and business partnering.

Prior to joining Reckitt, Triona qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ormsby & Rhodes in Ireland.

Triona served two terms as Chair of the Chartered Accountants Ireland London Society between May 2021 and April 2023, leading initiatives to support and engage the Irish chartered accounting community in London.

Alongside her professional responsibilities, Triona is actively involved in the not-for-profit sector. She is a Trustee of the Irish Youth Foundation (UK), which supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through education, development, and opportunity-building initiatives.
