Sustainable Futures conference
In partnership with the University of Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies, Risilience held its annual conference, Sustainable Futures: Connecting climate and nature with business for better outcomes, at the Barbican Centre, London in May 2024.
Sustainable Futures brings together sustainability and risk leaders from the world’s largest organisations to help solve the greatest sustainability challenges facing business today.
We were delighted to be joined by Dr Akshat Rathi, award-winning, senior climate reporter for Bloomberg News, who delivered a keynote presentation based on his new book: ‘Climate Capitalism’.
Further business insights were shared by sustainability and risk experts from a range of major global brands, including PepsiCo, Britvic, Aldi, PwC and Pernod Ricard.
Sustainable Futures shared fresh thinking, alongside practical and thought-provoking content, combining the latest climate-and-nature science with on-the-ground best practice and insights from business.
Industry leaders experienced a dynamic and insightful programme, as well as valuable networking opportunities throughout the day, where attendees met sustainability and risk leaders from other organisations who are tackling comparable and immediate challenges.
