Tamara Evan
Tamara is a Senior Product Manager at Risilience, tasked with overseeing the expansion of functionalities on the Risilience platform as well as the development of future components of the tool to meet the growing needs of risk professionals worldwide.
She previously led the development of Risilience’s Enterprise risk analysis service, identifying emerging risks, and developing quantitative scenarios for use in corporate risk management, and continues to advise on corporate interest in non-climate associated risks.
Educated in history to a postgraduate level at the University of Bristol and UCL, Tamara approaches her work with an appreciation for the significant and long-term social and political impacts that can arise from major or mishandled shock events.
She was previously the Geopolitical Risk Research Lead at the University of Cambridge’s Centre for Risk Studies from 2016.
Peter Hay
Peter is Director of Brand and Content at Risilience, working out of the Marketing team to protect the brand’s integrity and reputation while developing and implementing the company’s content marketing strategy.
Previously working as a journalist, Peter has subsequently had a career spanning 15 years in marketing with a focus on content and comms at B2B tech companies, including ThoughtWorks and Divido.
He holds a Master’s degree in History of Art, with a focus on Psychoanalysis and Modernism.
Professor Danny Ralph
Danny is Chairman and a founder member of Risilience. He is an authority on managing risk in business and has published widely in his capacity as professor of Operations Research at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where he also founded the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies for which he is Academic Director.
Danny’s interests in business risk include identification and management of systemic risk, risk aversion in investment, economic equilibria models and optimisation methods.
Jacob Barrett
Jacob is a Product Manager and also an active player in communicating the models themselves, along with their outputs, to clients and has engaged in iterative improvements to various models.
With a background in geophysics, prior to Risilience, Jacob worked on assessing the economic viability of mining for a geochemistry company and spent a year investigating deep-mantle geophysics.
Joshua Jamieson
Joshua is a Research Modeller at Risilience, where he works on the development of scenarios to assess business risks. This involves building research-supported models to analyse the likelihood, severity and overall impact of these risks. His focus is on emerging risk, using data to provide clients with robustly parameterised models that communicate the potential impacts to their business in a given risk scenario.
Prior to joining Risilience, Joshua worked as an economic consultant, supporting both multinational businesses and public sector clients.
Additionally, Joshua trained as a chartered accountant, working as a financial auditor for five years.
Dr Michelle Tuveson
Michelle is Senior Advisor of Strategic Initiatives to Risilience where she provides expertise in guiding the strategic direction to its leadership. Michelle helps teams identify new opportunities for growth and strategies for development. She advises on markets, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
Michelle is Chairman & Executive Director of Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. She is a frequent commentator and moderator at risk & sustainability thought leadership events and conferences.
Dr Andrew Coburn
Andrew is CEO and a founder member of Risilience. He is responsible for the overall business success and direction of the company, and was the main architect behind the models and analytics that go into the Climate Risilience™ and Enterprise Risilience™ platforms.
Andrew has previously been one of the early-stage innovators of the catastrophe modelling industry for insurance, where he has created and brought numerous analytics products to market.
Andrew is one of the founder members of Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, where he maintains a position as Chief Scientist.
Oliver Pearson
Oliver is Head of Digital Marketing and Communications at Risilience, where he is primarily responsible for the marketing techstack. His role involves the building and maintaining of automations as well as identifying and leveraging opportunities that exist online.
He has previously occupied in-house and agency roles that required the design and implementation of digital strategies for various businesses.
Jack Conroy
Jack is a Software Engineer at Risilience, where he is primarily focussed on back-end development. His role involves maintaining and adding functionality to the API, managing cloud servers, and working on the overall security of the system, in addition to making architectural changes within the dashboards.
Jack’s background is in Mathematics, having undertaken a BSc in the subject at the University of Warwick. He then briefly worked as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at Rees Pollock, before spending two years as a programmer at Dstl, creating various tools for use in Counter Terrorism & Security projects.
