Suzanne Hopkins-Oldak

Suzanne is Head of Strategic Partnerships at Risilience, where she supports the team’s growth strategy by building mutually beneficial partnerships that increase Risilience’s global profile among business leaders.

She facilitates relationships with a variety of organisations to introduce new companies to the platform and advance sustainable business growth strategies.

Prior to joining Risilience, Suzanne led The Economist Client Solutions Groups and US growth strategy. She is a Fordham University alumnus who lives in New York.

Dr Richard Newton

Richard is Climate Analyst at Risilience and works on upgrading and improving the climate and physical risk models that quantify future risks to companies due to climate change, such as those from drought, heatwaves and windstorms, and increasing the capabilities of the climate modelling tools.

With a research background in physics, in which he gained an MPhys degree and went on to complete a PhD in Atmospheric Science, with a focus on chemical species in convective storms in the tropical West Pacific.

Graham Arnold

Graham is a Senior Solutions Consultant at Risilience. He provides subject matter and technical support in sales engagements: helping the sales and marketing teams to attract new customers, service the sales pipeline and drive expansions within existing business. Graham focuses on articulating to customers the value outcomes of using the Risilience product suite and services through demonstrations, value propositions, development of sales collateral and attending customer meetings and events.

Graham has 20+ years of experience of consultative and value-based selling within the technology and retail sectors: specifying, designing, and selling solutions that range from hardware systems, used in tier one food retailers, through to virtual assistants deployed by global online brands.

Duncan Powell

Duncan is CFO at Risilience, where he oversees the financial management and strategic business planning for the company.

As a growth-orientated finance leader with over 25 years’ experience, he has deep expertise in strategic and financial planning; corporate and business development; mergers and acquisitions; business and financial optimisation; and fundraising in both private and public companies.

Rimante Hinton

Rimante is Marketing Executive at Risilience, where she is mainly responsible for planning and executing digital and direct-marketing campaigns, managing events and other marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining Risilience, Rimante held various sales and marketing roles across technology and pharmaceutical industries.

She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Innovation from Anglia Ruskin University.

Simon Ruffle

Simon is Chief Information Officer and a founder of Risilience. He is the original architect behind the Risilience SaaS Platform. He is responsible for compliance, IT, ESG, security, standards, interoperability, and data.

Nina Pepper

Nina is SVP Marketing at Risilience. She brings 25 years’ marketing experience to the business and is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end marketing function.

Prior to joining Risilience, Nina held senior marketing roles at other rapidly-scaling tech companies, sitting on leadership teams responsible for awards such as Deloitte Fast 50, Queen’s Award for Enterprise, FT1000 and Times Tech Track 100.

Tamara Evan

Tamara is a Senior Product Manager at Risilience, tasked with overseeing the expansion of functionalities on the Risilience platform as well as the development of future components of the tool to meet the growing needs of risk professionals worldwide.

She previously led the development of Risilience’s Enterprise risk analysis service, identifying emerging risks, and developing quantitative scenarios for use in corporate risk management, and continues to advise on corporate interest in non-climate associated risks.

Educated in history to a postgraduate level at the University of Bristol and UCL, Tamara approaches her work with an appreciation for the significant and long-term social and political impacts that can arise from major or mishandled shock events.

She was previously the Geopolitical Risk Research Lead at the University of Cambridge’s Centre for Risk Studies from 2016.

Peter Hay

Peter is the Head of Brand and Content at Risilience, working out of the Marketing team to protect the brand’s integrity and reputation while developing and implementing the company’s content marketing strategy.

Previously working as a journalist, Peter has subsequently had a career spanning 15 years in marketing with a focus on content and comms at B2B tech companies, including ThoughtWorks and Divido.

He holds a Master’s degree in History of Art, with a focus on Psychoanalysis and Modernism.

Dr Matthew Hopwood

Matt is a Risk Modeller at Risilience whose role involves the research and construction of models examining a wide variety of phenomena related to risks encountered by business due to climate change and biodiversity loss, as well as general enterprise risks.

Prior to working at Risilience, Matt completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the Universities of Birmingham and Adelaide.
