Tim Waterson
Tim Waterson is a Software Engineer at Risilience.
Prior to joining Risilience, Tim worked for a number of years for a large Manchester-based online retailer. He has experience designing, developing and monitoring complex, highly-scalable software systems.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of York.
Taryn Hubbard
Taryn is a technical document manager at Risilience and is responsible for the creation of client-facing methodologies for the 'Climate Risilience' platform. She works closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure adherence to industry standards, as well as running workshops in effective technical writing for developers. Taryn was previously a business risk analyst (specialising in aviation) and the first technical writer at Risilience, and prior to joining the company in 2020 worked in the third sector. Taryn holds an MA (Cantab) in English from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge.
Oliver Carpenter
Oliver is Director of Environmental Risk Analytics at Risilience, where he leads the research and model development practice related to climate change, sustainability, and natural capital risks.
He has been instrumental in developing Risilience’s science and quantitative models to assess financial risks to businesses from environmental risks. Oliver is passionate about empowering organisations with innovative analytics to address the double-materiality of environmental risk and support net zero business transformation.
Previously in his role at the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies, Oliver’s research focused on quantifying the economic impacts of natural catastrophes and emerging risk scenario development for enterprise risk management.
He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Risk, majoring on physical climate change risk and natural hazard models, and a BSc in Physical Geography from Durham University.
Dr Jay Jung
Dr Jay Jung is a Lead Corporate Finance Analyst at Risilience. He is responsible for building and maintaining the financial digital twin, a key component of Risilience’s stress-test scenario development approach in solving complex issues in enterprise and climate risk management.
Jay has closely worked with senior executives at global businesses and non-profit organisations to help them develop, design, implement and review/calibrate strategic plans. Jay's ability to gain meaningful insight from a multi-faceted analysis adds values to Risilience's efforts to develop a comprehensive risk management solution that is designed to help executives make informed decisions.
Jay holds a PhD degree in History from the University of Cambridge.
Suzanne Hopkins-Oldak
Suzanne is Head of Strategic Partnerships at Risilience, where she supports the team’s growth strategy by building mutually beneficial partnerships that increase Risilience’s global profile among business leaders.
She facilitates relationships with a variety of organisations to introduce new companies to the platform and advance sustainable business growth strategies.
Prior to joining Risilience, Suzanne led The Economist Client Solutions Groups and US growth strategy. She is a Fordham University alumnus who lives in New York.
Graham Arnold
Graham is a Senior Solutions Consultant at Risilience. He provides subject matter and technical support in sales engagements: helping the sales and marketing teams to attract new customers, service the sales pipeline and drive expansions within existing business. Graham focuses on articulating to customers the value outcomes of using the Risilience product suite and services through demonstrations, value propositions, development of sales collateral and attending customer meetings and events.
Graham has 20+ years of experience of consultative and value-based selling within the technology and retail sectors: specifying, designing, and selling solutions that range from hardware systems, used in tier one food retailers, through to virtual assistants deployed by global online brands.
Duncan Powell
Duncan is CFO at Risilience, where he oversees the financial management and strategic business planning for the company.
As a growth-orientated finance leader with over 25 years’ experience, he has deep expertise in strategic and financial planning; corporate and business development; mergers and acquisitions; business and financial optimisation; and fundraising in both private and public companies.
Rimante Hinton
Rimante is Marketing Executive at Risilience, where she is mainly responsible for planning and executing digital and direct-marketing campaigns, managing events and other marketing initiatives.
Prior to joining Risilience, Rimante held various sales and marketing roles across technology and pharmaceutical industries.
She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Innovation from Anglia Ruskin University.
Simon Ruffle
Simon is Chief Information Officer and a founder of Risilience. He is the original architect behind the Risilience SaaS Platform. He is responsible for compliance, IT, ESG, security, standards, interoperability, and data.
Nina Pepper
Nina is SVP Marketing at Risilience. She brings 25 years’ marketing experience to the business and is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end marketing function.
Prior to joining Risilience, Nina held senior marketing roles at other rapidly-scaling tech companies, sitting on leadership teams responsible for awards such as Deloitte Fast 50, Queen’s Award for Enterprise, FT1000 and Times Tech Track 100.
