Aisling Harrington-Brown
Aisling is a Senior Sales Associate at Risilience whose role is to help across the full sales cycle and expand Risilience’s presence in EMEA. Her responsibilities include assisting Sales and Marketing with lead generation, working alongside multinational companies to identify new business opportunities and drive internal business transformation to reduce emissions, and delivering a high level of service to existing clients.
Aisling has previously worked in management consulting and account management and holds a First Class Honours in English Language and Literature from the University of Nottingham.
Aaron Gress
Aaron is VP, Sales US at Risilience.
Before joining Risilience, Aaron spent the last decade as a climate-tech sales leader using data to improve corporations’ business and sustainability goals. Most recently, he was at a Series A start-up (since purchased by Generac Power Systems (NYSE: GNRC)) that deployed a hardware-enabled SaaS product to optimize truck routes for the delivered fuel industry; saving delivery costs and reducing CO2.
Aaron’s sustainability journey started as a Sustainable Agriculture Volunteer in Ecuador with the US Peace Corps and during his grad school studies at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and Duke’s Nicholas School of the Environment.
Yan Bin Pan
Bin is a Senior Software Engineer at Risilience, he specializes in backend development, cloud infrastructure and model development platform. He is heavily involved in building and maintaining the infrastructure and tooling that make up the modelling platform, from large scale geospatial data and high performance compute to data pipelines automation using cloud native technologies and latest security practices.
His background is in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London. He worked as a Lifing engineer at Rolls Royce before moving to a data science aviation startup where he worked as a full-stack engineer building a platform to quantify aviation climate impact.
Yee Voong
Yee is Office Manager at Risilience whose main focus is to streamline and optimize the physical workspace for better efficiency. To foster a positive workplace culture by recognizing accomplishments, offering growth opportunities, and providing a platform for open feedback. She is also the Executive Assistant to the CEO, managing the C-Suite's calendar and scheduled meetings, engagements, conferences and business trips.
Before joining Risilience, Yee spent time at Queens' College, University of Cambridge as Executive Assistant in the Alumni Department and before that spent 8 years at British Airways as Executive Assistant to the Director of Aircraft Engineering.
Laurence Smith
Laurence is the Director of Financial Services Analytics. He leads the development of Risilience's financial services models and digital twin models.
Laurence’s most recent employment was at Lloyds Banking Group where he had several roles in the past 15 years including: credit risk modelling of mortgages impairment; probability of default modelling for corporates, universities, housing associations, sovereigns and project finance; pricing of personal products; and profitability analysis. Prior to that Laurence worked for Aviva pricing motor insurance and for a small economics consultancy.
Lisa Millard
Lisa joins us as Content Writer in the Marketing team and will play a key role in supporting our content strategy.
Lisa previously worked as a journalist (fashion initially), and latterly as a feature writer and columnist contributing to a number of national and regional titles.
More recently, Lisa has worked closely with research centres across the University of Cambridge including; Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction, Centre for Climate Engagement, Centre for Digital Built Britain, and Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration in Targeted Delivery for Hard-to-Treat Cancers, creating articles, blog posts, and website and social media content for a wide audience across a range of platforms. Much of her recent writing about smart infrastructure has championed the benefits to industry of using digital tools and data-driven insights for better decision making in relation to net zero, resilience and resource constraint.
Jaturong Chareonying
Jaturong is a Senior Solutions Specialist, supporting the relationship between Risilience and the client. Working within the Client Solutions team, a key aspect of his role is to demonstrate the capabilities of the Risilience platforms. This is completed through managing the data required for the development of the digital twin, training and maximizing the client’s needs from the products and services.
Prior to working at Risilience, Jaturong worked as a Software Implementation Consultant for 9+ years within a company providing trading and risk management software to the global commodity, recycling and energy markets.
Jaturong’s background is in Mathematics, having undertaken a BSc in the subject at Coventry University.
Charlie Whitton
As Head of Finance, Charlie is responsible for managing the financial reporting, control environment and day-to-day financial operations.
Charlie has a background in early stage technology companies and experience of scaling operations to manage growth. He trained as a chartered certified accountant at Deloitte, where he managed a portfolio of audit clients focusing on Cambridge based technology companies and UK real estate.
Dr Sam Vosper
Sam Vosper joins Risilience following the completion of his PhD and some other risk-related research at the University of Cambridge. His work focused on modelling risk preferences, demand and adaptive behavior's related to climate based micro-insurances.
Previously, he worked at a climate change consultancy in South Africa (where he grew up). That work included a mixture of policy research for government and support for companies seeking low carbon strategies and climate reporting (CDP).
Jean-Pierre (JP) Wack
Jean-Pierre (JP) Wack is a Product Manager with experience developing science and technology driven businesses for climate change mitigation and adaptation in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Previously at Spatial Informatics Group (SIG), he was productizing applied research for wildfire risk modelling with the Pyregence consortium in Western US and remote sensing services with the USAID/NASA SERVIR program in the Amazon basin. Prior to SIG, he led the adoption of forest fire detection technologies in Indonesia with Insight Robotics and environmental design for historic buildings In London with Eight Associates.
Jean-Pierre holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a master’s in Economics from the University of Strasbourg.
