Mary Goldman
Mary is Director of Nature Risk Analytics at Risilience. She leads research activities and model development focused on the dual climate-nature challenge. Mary is responsible for developing modelling solutions that support clients to speak to the demands of a diverse range of nature-related regulatory drivers and build strategic responses to nature-related risk.
Prior to joining Risilience, Mary led a team at Deloitte focused on delivering bespoke climate and nature risk modelling work. She was responsible for coordinating model development for a range of industries with a variety of diverse climate and nature risk concerns.
Mary has a background in economics and energy systems modelling, and previously worked at Cambridge Econometrics where she consulted on climate risk analysis and served as climate risk expert for Mercer’s ‘Investing in a time of Climate Change’ series.
Martynas Linkevicius
Martynas is a Senior Software Engineer at Risilience. He is a full stack engineer working on all aspects of the platform from the modelling pipelines to the Net Zero Planner user interface.
Martynas joined Risilience having graduated with an MEng from the University of Cambridge, where he specialized in Machine Learning and Computer systems. During his studies he pursued several internships in high performance computing and data science.
Joe Murgo
Joe is a Senior Solutions Specialist at Risilience, Joe specializes in supporting client's needs and teaching them how to best get what they need through the Risilience platforms. He helps implement the data needed for the development of the digital twin and trains clients to maximize the output of information to help them understand the results of the company’s physical and transitional risks.
Joe has an extensive background in climate and meteorology along with communication. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Meteorology. Before coming to Risilience he had a successful career in broadcast meteorology explaining the complicated risks from weather and climate to vast audiences. He has mentored dozens of young students into their careers in the climate sciences and is a long-term adjunct professor at the Pennsylvania State University, teaching course about meteorology, climate and their risk to individuals and businesses
In his free time, Joe enjoys the outdoors and is an avid skier, hiker, kayaker, and storm chaser. He also is a competitive curler.
Jack Spencer
Jack is a lead climate modeller in the Environmental Analytics team, where he develops economic projections of the shifting supply and demand for products under different scenarios of climate transition.
His academic and professional background is in economics, relating to the intersection between economic models and climate-related themes. Over the past 5 years or so, he has worked as an economic consultant, generally delivering quantitative modelling services for the European Commission (mainly, DG Clima, DG Regio, DG INTPA and DG EcFin). Prior to this, he studied at Edinburgh, Groningen and Southampton.
Roni Friedman
Roni has joined Risilience as a Sales Associate supporting the US sales. Prior to joining Risilience, Roni worked at ISS STOXX for 1.5 years as a Senior Business Development Associate. She prospected across their ESG, Governance, Securities Class Actions, and Index business lines for new sale opportunities, and in 2023 was named the “Top Global ISS BDR”.
Before starting her career at ISS, Roni completed an M.A. from Columbia University in “Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology”. If you ever need any information on horseshoe crabs and how they are impacted by the effects of climate change, Roni should be your first call. Outside of work, Roni enjoys cooking (especially for others), playing Catan, and taking care of her senior Dachshund Luli.
Natalie Doyle
Natalie serves as a Client Support Analyst at Risilience, where she focuses on providing high-quality support to our customers. Her role involves resolving customer queries, recommending solutions, and guiding clients to achieve successful outcomes. Natalie's strong communication skills help her explain complex issues to a diverse customer base, including major blue-chip companies. Reporting to the Head of Client Success, she works closely with the Client Success, Implementation, and Product teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
Her key responsibilities include taking ownership of customer issues and resolving them promptly, creating knowledge-base articles for client self-service, and assisting with implementation and data manipulation. Natalie also tests and analyzes platform changes and conducts research to support various teams within the organization. Her efforts contribute to increasing customer satisfaction and improving client interaction processes.
In her personal life, Natalie is an avid traveler and enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines. She has a keen interest in sustainability and environmental studies, often volunteering for local green initiatives.
Ann Yu
Ann joined Risilience in May 2024 as a Client Implementation Specialists working closely with the client solutions team supporting clients as they onboard and become active users of Risilience products. Ann’s role act as the primary contact on the implementation and support of Risilience’s clients. She is responsible for delivering business solutions and the implementation projects, which includes configuring and customizing the Risilience models to match client specifications.
Prior to Risilience, Ann worked as a management consultant at Deloitte, specializing in the delivery of sustainability technology strategy and transformation projects. Ann is experienced in helping clients across financial services, private, and public sectors. She has delivered major carbon impact reporting projects, quantifying carbon emissions reductions from data center decommissioning, redesigning carbon credit registries for carbon credit NGOs as well as optimizing tech op models to deliver efficiencies across client organizations.
Ann holds an integrated master’s in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Edinburgh. Outside of work, Ann enjoys art, music, and exploring different cultures across the world.
Robert Hardie
Rob is a Senior Solutions Specialist.
Rob has a background in the physical and social sciences and holds a PhD in public-private partnerships in carbon sequestration projects, which focused on the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. Prior to working at Risilience, he led a regional sustainability programme at the University at Sheffield, creating and sourcing funding for cross-sector sustainability projects in the South Yorkshire region.
Rob also holds a MSc in Environmental Change and International Development from the University of Sheffield and BSc in Physical Geography from Newcastle University.
Dr Scott Kelly
Scott heads the Model Development Team. He is responsible for the full scope of product related R&D activity including modelling, data science, data acquisition and corporate finance.
Before joining Risilience, Scott was Chief Economic Advisor to the Environmental Commissioner of the New Zealand government. Prior to that he was Associate Professor at the University of Technology Sydney and was an invited member of the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative. He was instrumental in raising early awareness on the importance of sustainable finance and worked to establish the Climate Measurement Standards Initiative to standardize climate reporting across the financial sector in Australia.
Ben Boukhobza
Ben is SVP, Sales EMEA. He is responsible for new business growth across the EMEA and APAC regions as well as leading two key growth initiatives for Risilience. Building relationships and use cases with Financial Institutions, most notably on the investor side as well as creating and implementing commercial partnerships to open further sales distribution channels.
Prior to joining Risilience, Ben spent 12 years at Moody’s in a variety of commercial positions across Sales, Strategy, Account Management, Sales Operations with experience creating and building out new teams across Moody’s corporation, most recently leading the ESG & Climate Sales and Solution Specialist teams in EMEA and the Americas.
Ben holds a BSc (Hons) in International Business with French & Spanish from Aston University, Birmingham.
