Climate-analytics firm Risilience has been shortlisted as a finalist for Risk Management Specialist Company of the Year at the 2023 Risk Management Awards.

The awards celebrate excellence in the field of risk management, and are the pinnacle of achievement in the risk sector – having been established over a decade ago.

“We have an excellent team of professionals at Risilience and to be named among such a strong field of finalists in the category Risk Management Specialist Company of the Year is a real testament to the hard work and dedication from everyone,” said Risilience CEO Dr Andrew Coburn.

He added: “Climate disruption creates a lot of uncertainty for businesses, so managing that risk is paramount to ensure companies not only remain resilient in the face of oncoming threats but also capitalise on the opportunities that successfully managing this risk can bring about. To achieve this, businesses need access to the right data at the right time to make informed strategic decisions on the road to net zero.”

Risilience was recently recognised by independent research firm Verdantix in its Smart Innovators: Climate Risk Digital Solutions report, performing well across all categories. The report stated Risilience has market-leading functionality and product differentiation across transition-risk analysis for corporates and impact quantification, namely climate-scenarios coverage, operational-impact quantification and financial-impact quantification.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, taking place on Thursday 30th November at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
