Principal Analyst, Verdantix
Felicity is a Principal Analyst at Verdantix, specializing in climate financial data and portfolio monitoring for net zero goals. She previously worked at BlackRock overseeing US retail mutual funds, including ESG and sustainable funds, and managed Delaware’s Energy Efficiency Investment Fund. Felicity holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Delaware, an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins, and a BS/BA in Natural Resource Management from Delaware.

Ben Saunders
Principal, Climate & Sustainability, Apollo Global Management, LLC
Ben leads the Climate & Sustainability engagement strategy for Apollo’s Private Equity portfolio representing about $120bn in AUM. He is responsible for integrating sustainability value creation initiatives throughout the investment lifecycle; engaging portfolio companies to develop, execute, and accelerate their sustainability strategies; and developing playbooks and partnerships to scale impact across the portfolio. Prior to joining Apollo, Ben helped build an Energy & Sustainability consulting business at Insight Sourcing Group.

Oliver Carpenter
VP Climate Risk, Risilience
Oliver is VP of Climate Risk at Risilience, where he leads the research and model development practice related to climate change, sustainability, and natural capital risks.
He has been instrumental in developing Risilience’s science and quantitative models to assess financial risks to businesses from environmental risks. Oliver is passionate about empowering organisations with innovative analytics to address the double-materiality of environmental risk and support net zero business transformation.
Previously in his role at the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies, Oliver’s research focused on quantifying the economic impacts of natural catastrophes and emerging risk scenario development for enterprise risk management.
He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Risk, majoring on physical climate change risk and natural hazard models, and a BSc in Physical Geography from Durham University.
