Risilience scoops place as Net Zero finalist in Big Sustainability Awards

CAMBRIDGE, 31st September, 2022

Risilience, the leading climate-tech platform, has been named a finalist in the Net Zero category at this year’s Big Sustainability Awards.

The award category recognises companies that are taking tangible steps towards making a net-positive contribution to communities, society and the environment.

In the global drive towards a more sustainable future, Risilience puts the power of risk science in the hands of global enterprises; translating data into actionable insights that enable companies to identify opportunities, future-proof business strategy and protect investor interests, as they implement net-zero strategies and combat climate-related risks.

Dr. Andrew Coburn, CEO and co-founder, Risilience said: ‘As new legislation comes ever closer and the potential threat of litigation hovers, proactive net zero planning and implementation, based on robust science and data, has never been more important for our clients.

‘To be named finalists in the Net Zero award category recognises Risilience’s commitment to ensuring our clients navigate those risks and meet their targets, making a net-positive contribution that ensures everyone benefits.’

In deciding the shortlist, the judges considered how and why the business was created, its approach, and how Risilience’s technology goes above and beyond standard sustainability practices.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday 22nd September, 2022.
